I've been dreaming of Springtime lately looking at new collections by some of my favorite designers—among them of course, Isabele Marant. Above are a few of my favorites from her new Spring/Summer 2010 looks—as always Marant delivers feminine (get ready to show some leg) wearable pieces. The color palette of grey, fuchsia, bright blue and poppy red is shown on t-shirt dresses, striped mini dresses, blazers and pants.
Loving the Seneca Rising Holiday 2009 collection, billowy tops and sweaters in ashy earth tones with feminine silhouettes and modern details like offset zippers. Meant to be worn in layers, the pieces are super soft and are definite closet staples—the ones that don't spend much time in your drawers. With a tomboy past the designer was inspired by her brothers hand-me-downs that she would get as a kid, influencing her "no fuss" looks that make up her collection today. Which goes to prove, the tomboy in me is very much still alive, I can't get enough of these tees.

Nothing like a little shimmer and shine to spice up the drab gloomy weather quickly taking the place of our Indian Summer. A must-have for the season, sequins are popping up in every department—tops, outerwear, shoes and accessories—so there's no excuse to refuse a little dazzle in your closet. I can't wait to pick up one of these fun pieces for a night out on the town or a romantic date night (ahem).
